I&M Canal and Du Page River Canoe & Kayak Race in Channahon, IL
The annual I&M Canal and Du Page River Canoe & Kayak Race will be held on Sunday
September 7th at Channahon State Park in Channahon, IL. This race course on
the Du Page river with an upstream starting leg of approximately 3 miles and
return to the starting line. This race is hosted
by the Morris Marathon Canoe Club.
The morning races start at 10 AM.

1 PM.

- Recreational/Stock Aluminum

- Womens
All interested individuals are invited to attend. If you come we will make a
class for you.
Directions from I-55 Channahon Exit
- Go West on US-6 for approximately 2.5 miles
- Turn Left on Canal St.
(Subway on corner)
- Travel about 3 blocks on Canal St until Story St(4 way
stop).
- Turn right on Story follow into Park
Directions from I-80 Minooka Exit
- Go South on Ridge Road for approximately 3.5 miles
- Turn Left on US-6
(Jewel on corner)
- Travel on US-6 for approximately 2.3 miles.
- Turn right on Canal St(Subway on corner)
- Travel about 3 blocks on Canal
St until Story St(4 way stop).
- Turn right on Story follow into Park
