In-Stream Maintenance Crew Workday Schedules
The Illlinois Paddling Council sponsors the In-Stream Maintenance Crews (ISMC) with the support of our Local Partner's:
the Lake County Forest Preserve District on the Lake County portion of the Des Plaines River and the
Forest Preserve District of Cook County on the North Branch of the Chicago River and the Cook County portion of Salt Creek.The Illinois Paddling Council also acknowledges the generous support of the American Canoe Association and the ACA/LL Bean
Club Fostered Stewardship grant program which helped equip the ISMC with safety gear, waders and hand tools.During the 2008 TrailKeeper's season, the IPC is sponsoring two In-Stream Maintenance Crews. The North Crew will work to
maintain clear and safe passage on the Lake County portion of the Des Plaines River Watertrail and the North Branch of
the Chicago River Watertrail in Cook County..
The West Crew will work on the Cook County portion of Salt Creek Watertrail.North Crew 2008 Workday Schedule
All North Crew workdays are on Saturday, locations to be determined and announced only to crew members.
